WHAT IS THE BEST PRODUCT FOR MY HAIR?

Finding the right haircare isn’t always straightforward. That’s why we’ve created a simple guide to help you understand your hair type and select the products best suited to your needs. Whether your hair is coloured, fine, mature, or frizz-prone—or you’re navigating extensions or chlorine exposure—this page is here to help you craft a more intentional ritual.

COLOURED HAIR

Coloured hair isn’t one-size-fits-all. Foils, tints, or a combination of both require different care rituals.

  • For blonde foils: Start with a deep cleanse to remove dulling pollution and product buildup. Begin with Balancing Shampoo, then follow with Hydrating Shampoo to replenish moisture. Finish with Treatment Conditioner, combed through from root to tip before rinsing well.

  • For tints: Use Hydrating Shampoo twice to protect depth and shine, followed by Treatment Conditioner.

  • For a mix of tints and foils: Use Balancing Shampoo every few weeks to gently refresh your blonde without disturbing the darker tones.

FINE HAIR

Fine hair often needs help with volume and lift at the roots.

  • Use Balancing Shampoo twice to gently cleanse and encourage body

  • Apply Treatment Conditioner to the scalp and ends to nourish without weight. Conditioning the roots supports healthy growth and hydration.

  • Rinse thoroughly to prevent heaviness or buildup.

MATURE HAIR

Hair naturally becomes finer and drier as we age. Our formulas support volume, hydration, and shine through every decade.

  • For bounce and strength: Wash once with Balancing Shampoo, then again with Hydrating Shampoo, and follow with Treatment Conditioner

  • For drier hair or scalp: Use Hydrating Shampoo twice, then condition as usual

FRIZZY OR COARSE HAIR

Hydration is key. For textured or frizz-prone hair:

  • Wash twice with Hydrating Shampoo

  • Apply Treatment Conditioner from ends to scalp, comb through, and rinse thoroughly

WIGS & TOPPERS

If your wig or topper sits directly on the skin:

  • Use Balancing Shampoo on the base to remove oils

  • Then flip and cleanse with Hydrating Shampoo for softness

  • Finish with Treatment Conditioner to maintain sheen and bounce

For extensions or toppers that don’t touch the scalp, washing less frequently is fine—but always condition to keep hair hydrated.

COMBINATION HAIR TYPES

Many of us have more than one concern—dryness, colour, ageing, buildup. Focus your ritual on your most pressing need and adapt as the seasons or services change.

For example:

  • Mature, highlighted hair may need alternating use of Balancing Shampoo and Hydrating Shampoo over the month

  • Adjusting your routine throughout the year will support better long-term results

CHLORINE BUILDUP

If you swim in chlorinated pools regularly:

  • Apply Balancing Shampoo directly to dry hair, avoiding roots

  • Rinse, then wash hair twice as usual

  • Repeat until hair feels restored

  • Always follow with Treatment Conditioner

DRY SHAMPOO USERS

Dry shampoo can create buildup over time. Reset with a clarifying wash:

  • Wash first with Balancing Shampoo to remove residue

  • Follow with Hydrating Shampoo and finish with Treatment Conditioner
